Polyester aida is stiffer to work with than cotton aida and we would not recommend using it with a wooden embroidery hoop. This type of aida is perfect for those little projects that need a little bit more structure and strength. The weave in this aida holds well and therefore is also really handy for any stitchers that want to practise. 
 
What can I use this type of aida for?
You can use Polyester aida for any type of project, but here at the Den, we use it for greetings card inserts, bookmarks, coasters, jewellery and other small projects.
